Directions

Via Public Transportation: Take the Orange line to Ruggles station and go downstairs. Take the 22 or 23 bus to Codman Square. Or take the Red Line to Shawmut. Walk up to Centre St, turn right onto Centre and walk to Codman Square (a walk of about 7 minutes).

From West of Boston: Take I-90/Mass Pike going East. Continue straight and I-90 will merge onto I- 93 South. Continue on 93 South through Boston to Exit 11B (Granite Ave., Ashmont). Take the exit and at the end of the ramp, continue straight on Granite Ave. At the 3rd set of lights, take a left onto Gallivan Blvd. Proceed on Gallivan Blvd until you reach the 3rd set of lights. At these lights, take a right onto Washington Street. Follow Washington St. for approximately one mile. The Asthma Regional Council is located at the Massachusetts Prevention Center, on the right at 622 Washington Street, across the street from the Codman Square Health Center, just before the intersection of Washington and Talbot.

From the South End, Boston: Take Tremont Street towards Roxbury. Stay on Tremont Street for a few miles, crossing Mass Ave., and passing the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center, Roxbury Community College, and Dimock Health Center (all on your left). At Egleston Square pass over Washington Street staying straight. At this point Tremont Street turns into Sever Street. Pass Walnut Park Housing (the round building), Saint Mary’s Church on left, and Franklin Park on your right. At the end of Park take a right onto Blue Hill Avenue (park will continue to be on your right). Stay on Blue Hill Avenue for a few blocks. At the large field and youth center, take a left onto Talbot Avenue (you’ll pass the Lee School on your right). When you reach Washington Street, you will see a large white church in front of you, and McDonald’s will be on your left. Take a right onto Washington Street and the ARC will be directly on the left, at 622 Washington Street, 2nd Floor, across from the Codman Square Health Center.

From Massachusetts Avenue, Boston: Travel south on Mass. Avenue to the intersection of Mass. Avenue and Columbia Road. Take a right onto Columbia Road. At the 7th set of lights (Columbia Road and Washington Street), take a left onto Washington Street. We’re at 622 Washington Street (on the corner of Talbot Avenue), across from the Codman Square Health Center.

From North of Boston: Take Rt. 93 South through Boston to Exit 11B (Granite Avenue, Ashmont). Take the exit and at the end of the ramp, continue straight on Granite Avenue. At the 2nd set of lights, take a left onto Gallivan Boulevard. Proceed on Gallivan Boulevard until you reach the 3rd set of lights. At these lights, take a right onto Washington Street. Follow Washington Street for approximately one mile. The Asthma Regional Council is on the right at 622 Washington Street, across from the Codman Square Health Center, right before the intersection of Washington Street and Talbot Avenue.

From South of Boston: Same as above except take 93 North through Milton and Quincy until you reach Exit 11 (Granite Ave.). Take the exit and proceed as above.
